HP Chromebook 11 review

Hewlett-Packard's new Chromebook 11 is a laptop at heart, but it's light and portable enough to work well in places where you'd normally prefer a tablet.
I'm thinking cramped buses and airplanes, the waiting area of a doctor's office or even the cushiony couch in your living room. The Chromebook is small enough to rest comfortably on your lap and easy to carry when you need to pick up and go.

Coming soon to a Google Glass near you: Mono earbuds!

Google has shared images of its updated Glass.
The company on Tuesday posted images of the new Google Glass, featuring a mono earbud and support for prescription glasses. It appears the device has no other hardware upgrades, but Google said it will also be compatible with shades it plans to offer at some point in the future.

Google is offering Explorers who purchased Glass before Monday a one-time option to exchange their current device for the upgraded version. Google didn't say exactly when the new devices will be available, only that it would notify Explorers in November with the next steps for the swap program. Explorers can also switch to a different colored Glass during the one-time swap. The images follow a Google+ post on Monday that announced the upgrade.

And the Pebble, one of the first true-blue smartwatches, is still trying to build an app ecosystem the way that Google and Apple did for their smartphones. It's an uphill battle for Pebble, the smartwatch darling, and it won't get any easier when those tech titans join the fray.
